July 23, 2024 – Fajar Alfian, a Master's student in Management at ARS University, achieved the runner-up position in the men's doubles category at the Singapore Open 2024. The tournament, held in Singapore, saw top badminton players from various countries competing.

Fajar Alfian, alongside his partner Muhammad Rian Ardianto, delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament. They managed to defeat strong pairs from different countries to reach the final. In the intense final match, Fajar and Rian faced the Japanese duo Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi. Despite their relentless effort, Fajar and Rian eventually succumbed to the Japanese pair with a score of 19-21, 21-18, 17-21.
