Master of Management Study Program Holds Community Service Activities in Cihideung Village*
West Bandung, May 18, 2024 – The Master of Management Study Program held a community service activity that took place on May 16-17, 2024 in Cihideung Village, West Bandung Regency. This activity aims to support the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the ornamental plant sector through sustainable training and sales.
Cihideung Village, which is known as one of the centers of ornamental plant production in West Bandung, is a strategic location for this activity. In the two days of activities, participants consisting of MSME owners and local residents received training on business management, marketing strategies, and effective ornamental plant planting and care techniques.
Dr. Rian Andrani., M.M, as Head of the Master of Management Study Program, explained that this activity is part of the campus' commitment to providing real contributions to the community. "Through this activity, we hope to provide the insight and skills needed by MSMEs to be able to increase the competitiveness of their businesses, especially in the ornamental plant sector which has great potential," he said.
In addition to training, this activity also includes individual business consultation sessions aimed at providing solutions to specific problems faced by each MSME.
This community service activity received a positive response from the residents of Cihideung Village and MSMEs. They hope that similar activities can continue to be carried out in the future to support the progress of the village economy.
With this activity, the Master of Management Study Program further emphasizes its role as an educational institution that not only focuses on teaching and research, but also on community empowerment through beneficial and sustainable programs.
