Background: Enhanced Recovery After Caesarian Surgery (ERACS) is a fast recovery program after caesarean section in the form of a series of treatments starting from perioperative preparation, intraoperative and postoperative care to patient discharge.Along with the increasing number of caesarean operations worldwideand especially in Indonesia, the implementation of ERACSina hospital needs a good strategic management approach in order to produce optimal service quality in caesarean delivery services.Method: This studyis a qualitativedescriptive using the SWOT technique (Stregths, Weakness, Opportunities, & Threats) to evaluate the performance level of this X hospital in terms of its capability and readiness to implement ERACS as one of its featuredprograms.Result : SWOT analysis of the application of ERACS at hospital X after calculating the IFAS and EFAS scores, the coordinates of the strategy where the calculations were obtained resulted in 0.47;0.34. These results are in quadrant I which indicates hospital X is ina condition of implementing an aggressive strategy to develop ERACS services.Conclusion: The ERACS technique can be implemented at X Hospital in Jombang district, East Java in accordance with the results of the SWOT analysis that has been carried out by strengthening the ERACS Standard Operating Procedure at the hospital to meet the increasingdemand for pregnancy services at this hospital |
